This is quite a simple idea for a pulgin, but could save you many hours of adding categories. Simply enter a list of the categories you want to add, and then submit it. The category will be made as if you were doing it via the admin. Errors and possible problems are also reported, which allows you to see which categories were added ok, and which ones you need to retry. The new version supports full heirarchical category generation (i.e it will generate all categories that don't exist below the one you are trying to add), it has a lot cleaner interface, better Readme, and also seems to be able to support much large categories numbers.
