Javascript drop down boxes. Can't Post

Hi Andy

I'm having a couple of issues with the drop down box selection on the home page [ ppc_user_front.html ]

After selection of the add bid, it will work the 1 st time but not the 2 nd time, you then have to modify bid, cancel then select add bid.
Its not just the add bid, it could be modify, search, delete etc.
It happens accross all browsers.
I have other scripts on the same page but tested by removing all others and still the same result.

Is it possible to mod this so I can use without the Java, just html selections.
Regards

Hi. Yeah, this is a problem with the JS stuff (I only put it in because it took up less space Smile).

If you look at the current source code (the tempaltes), there should be the URL's around the "SELECT" area. Simply copy those URL (to point the text links too), and then comment out the select box :)

Please let me know if you need any help to do this.

Cheers

Also getting intermittant errors:

There seems to have been a problem.
The error message is as follows;
Invalid ID passed along...

Same again, it will work sometimes but not other times.
Happens when selecting add, modify etc.

May be all related to the java.

Will change it over to html as suggested and advise.

More than likely something to do with mod_perl again :(

I'll take a look into it, as it seems to be causing problems in a few of my plugins :(

Changed them to html but still the same.

Seems to be the same problem as the Myfaves Plugin spitting out an ID error.

Hi Andy

Changes you made for me are working well.

It certainly saves a lot of time setting up this type of link.
Previously I was using a combination of “Adcycle”, “Premium display listing” and “Pay for addition”, it was confusing for me and the users.

Now I can now do the lot from the one script, this has simplified it considerably for me and the users.

Thanks again for your help.
Smile
